Story and objectives of luxopuncture
Practiced since 1999, Luxopuncture (of the Latin lux: light) is a reflex technique, similar to acupuncture, acupressure or shiatsu.
Its objective is to help each person to discover their psychological and physical well-being by intervening on the body’s functions slowed down by the aggressions of the everyday life, such as:
• stress,
• unbalanced diet,
• fatigue, smoking…
and consequently to reduce the body’s imbalances:
• tension,
• compulsion,
• overweight, bulimia…
• less effective metabolism
• lymphatic retentions…
Functioning
Without needles, or lasers, the Luxopuncture treatments, exercised in more than 900 centers in the world, act by way of a soft and painless stimulation on reflex points, also called acupuncture points, with the help of an infrared beam with particular characteristics.
It is a new generation of acupuncture.
Warnings
Cures are prohibited for pregnant women, those suffering a serious organic disease or epileptic disorders.
